I think it's just plain stupid to say that bands like 30 Seconds to Mars are going to be around forever and that thier music will last forever. That's what a lot of teenage girls throught about The Jonas Brothers and they were forgotten within two years. The same thing will happen to 30 Seconds to Mars.

Althought there are some who say 30 Seconds to Mars is a "trend", it is not.
They've been around for what some people may consider a long time, and they have stuck to what they want to play, not what their fans want them to play.
Their style has changed over their works, yes, but they're experimented with what they like.
They deserve a spot in the R&R Hall of Fame.

I saw 30 Seconds to Mars at Voodoo fest back in early November. It was Halloween weekend, so Jared Leto came out dressed as Christ Ascending (he already has the hair/beard for the costume). Played an excellent set. Big crowd there for them. At end of set, he climbed up on the scaffolding for the sound tent & sang last song from there. I bet his manager was a tad nervous.

Jared Leto already has an Oscar, but his band just isn't ready for the Hall.
