The Clash is one of my ALL TIMES favorite bands, alongside with Dead Kennedys and Pixies.

They were AWESOME musicians, great lyricists and really punk rock. Not just heroin and awfully played riffs.

The Clash are infinitely more varied and influential than the buzzcocks. Probably the most important punk era band.

Happy Birthday to the late Joe Strummer who would've been 70 today.

Rest in Peace Keith Levene, founding member of the Clash (and of Public Image Ltd.) before they recorded their first album, 1957-2022.
