I didn't know the head Sublimer was dead. Crap. Really like their stuff. Don't know if they have enough to get in, but they sure had it going for a while.

Great music to listen to while relaxing on the beach.

Also like the message of 'Date Rape'.

What makes them the amazing band they were is the feeling you get when you listen to them. My mind goes numb and I get lost in the music everytime, no matter how many times I've heard it and you all know you were singing along

Over 75 million albums sold without playing a show or doing an interview to promote it. Most requested song on KROQ which is one of the most influential radio stations in the world. Music still in heavy rotation on rock and alternative stations. Would be ridiculous not to let them in first year eligible.

I really do hope they make it in. I loved how they really put their lyrics out there and didn't care what people thought. They probably influenced a lot of bands I listen to at the moment.

I was truly surprised when I saw sublime wasn't already in the rock of roll hall of fame. The true definition of a lasting legacy. I grew up on sublime, my own dog was named Louie after Lou-dog. Only reason they aren't in the Hall of Fame yet is because they were sloppy crazy drunkos on stage who crashed on people's couches during the "prime". If Bradley hadn't died they would've produced so many more bangers, but tell me one person who hasn't heard of sublime. the albums Sublime and 40 oz are probably one of the most well known albums of the 90s. Truly Unique sound. A shame they haven't been considered yet, hopefully in the next coming years.

Sublime has sold over 17 million albums worldwide, including over 10 million in the U.S. alone. Not bad for one album. But when it comes to the RRHOF there is no way they go with the likes of James Brown, Pat Benatar, Little Richard and the likes. Just no way.

They invented a genre of music. In any sport or hall of fame if a player invents a move or play or changes the game they are inducted in their sports hall of fame. Sublime was short lived and it's unfortunate we didn't get to hear more but for the time they had they inspired a new kind of music called punk reggae that was and still is very popular.
