The "indie" band label kills amazing bands like Spoon, to be recognized by mainstream. Yes -- Spoon should be inducted. Geez, if Dave Mathews inducted over Pat Benatar, then Spoon needs to be in too. Of course, it's a popularity contest and I grew up listening and appreciating Pat Benatar but am open enough to love bands that started in the 90's too. Love Spoon, Muse, Cake, Belle & Sebastian, etc-- all amazing bands and many more -- still going strong. I never got Dave Mathews, however and I've heard plenty.
