Its impossible for them not to be inducted because they're RADIOHEAD.

Do the guys in Radiohead even care? I honestly don't see them doing such a self-congratulatory thing like the Rock Hall. As a fan since 1995, I can say that it seems kind of "too industry" for a bunch of music nerds like Radiohead.

Induct Joy Division, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Siouxsie & The Banshees and THEN let's talk about Radiohead.

Not a fan, but I think they're a first ballot lock. Highly influential and popular.

Watching this year's induction on HBO, I keep thinking that 2017/18 can't come soon enough. Radiohead have got to be the most deserving band out there. Would they even show up to the ceremony? Certainly not if Miley Cyrus upstages things as she did tonight with Joan Jett.

I can fit a log up my anus with enough determination! Time to practice for the world record!

Musically, they've been quite creative, and have crafted a few masterpieces such as OK Computer. But furthermore, the impact they've had on the music industry and the use of the internet to get their music out there should give them bonus points. That said, it could be the reason they DON'T get inducted, seeing as they essentially gave the finger to the industry and created their own path.

There an amazing band and I would be surprised if they didn't make it in.

Radiohead should be inducted, but only if they give props to every lesser-known artist they plagiarized en route to becoming household names. They're Oasis with slightly better musicianship.

Troll much, Nermen? Notwithstanding a complete lack of similarity between their sounds, Radiohead have actually been around longer than (or at least started at practically the same time as) Oasis.

Does anybody else hear a Moody Blues influence on the middle section of "Paranoid Android?"

Three things that make me think of Radiohead.

Nationality: It's not just the accent, but you could tell how British the production and style their music are.

Creepiness (pun unintended): "Creep" still remains as their most famous song and it's actually the right kind of trailer for their later career. Those guys are always out there, weird, and eerie. Take "2 + 2= 5" for instance: sense-fully, there's a certain world of alienation that runs through all of their music and lyrics to represent themselves as the outsiders.

While most of you guys will say that song is more about authoritarianism and thought control cause the title is from George Orwell's 1984, but it's actually an example of implementing doublethink, an authoritarian method of mind control it leads in the not compete indoctrinated individual to exactly this feeling alienated. If you're the only one who thinks: "Hey, am I the only guy who still knows that 2+2=4?“ You can feel pretty alienated mathematically.

This is what I've noticed about Twenty-One Pilots who are huge right now cause they have the sense of contrarianism too, but more so a counter-culture.

Ever-changing: If you're a fan Radiohead since the beginning like me and other FRL regulars, you'll know that they've always change style. Kid A was a strong introduction of the electronic and a more abstract side of themselves; there's a big lap between artists who right depressing music and who kept changing their style. And this kind of darkness does play a big role too.

Looking at the nominees, I think Radiohead has a pretty good shot to be one of the ballot winners this year. The only thing I have to worry about is this:

While they can fill in arenas, sold millions of copies worldwide, and had a couple of number one albums on the Billboard 200. But to most of the general population's perspective on the band, they only know them for "Creep" and that's it. Some even mislabeled them as "one-hit wonder."

It feels like they're on a Deep Purple-like situation, which goes to show how much radio industry impact the Hall.

Im glad that Radiohead got inducted into the RRHOF, they're the greatest band since The Beatles & Pink Floyd. Their work is ranked on number of lists including Rolling Stone & VH1. Their music is so diverse in many ways, they're the digital underground pioneers. they won 22 of 79 awards in total.

I really felt Radiohead shared a lot of common grounds with Pink Floyd; both of them are album-oriented and Orwellian while the Beatles were mostly song oriented musically.

Music is in a golden age now and in the past two decades. To ignore it cause you just hate hipsters and humanity in general is absurd. i see you also are autistic like me but you should give new music a shot.
