I almost went to the RRHOF but decided not to because whomever is in charge of nominations must be 15 or so and really don't remember Connie Francis. She was and is the female voice of early Rock and Roll. It is a travesty that any woman is inducted into the HOF before Connie

I was encouraged many years ago when Gloria Estefan purchased the rights to Ms. Francis' biography with the intent of creating a film...since that project became tied up in legal-eeze, I am not encouraged that a movie about her life and career will be available to help spur the HOF folks to action. But then, it shouldn't take a major motion picture to get this done.

I was flabbergasted to learn Connie Francis was not in the HOL! Are you kidding? There is a group of us that planned to charter a small bus to go to the HOF next spring. We are older (mid 60's to late 70s) oldies fanatics. But the concensus is not to go if Connie is not inducted! Connie and Elvis ruled back then. She IS a rocker! Apparently those who decide who will be inducted are much younger and weren't around when rock was born! Iam a proud 1st generation rock & roller. Shame on the HOF!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a corrupt organisation, if it lets most of today's so called singers in who have no talent, who have their music up so loud it drowns out their voice and who cant hit a high note with a car door, yet someone the caliber of Connie Francis who can beat any other singer past present or future reaching these notes, cant get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, then shame on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you are doing the name Rock and Roll a big disservice by not adding her, adding her is long over due, so get your finger out and give her a night to remember by saying thank you.

She gets snubbed every year. The Rock and Roll hall of Fame board who decides this are aging hippies who think real R&R started after the Beatles. To them, Connie Francis represents a teeny bopper, commercialized R&R that is not "cool" in their eyes. They're wrong, but that's the way it is.

Ludicrous is the only explanation how Miss Connie Francis is NOT in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. A simple comparison would be to her former flame Bobby Darin. Darin started in what was then Rock and evolved into Adult Contemporary standards. What is notable is that Miss Francis DOMINATED the charts in the early 60's the only Female to do so. Overdue to be recognized at this point but even if the lady isn't bothered by her omission her rabid fans are. This is a black mark that may never be erased. But then again Neal Sedaka nor Neil Diamond aren't in either. I guess they weren't big enough either?

Cause you don't know Connie Francis doesn't make you right!!! Huge mistake not entering her in HOF!! She recorded in 13 LANGUAGES!!!!!! Connie was number one singer all over the world! She was actually an Ambassador for our country! Number one in every country singing songs in their native language! No one will EVER beat that! She is the best and is so very loved! The Hall of Fame put in Linda Ronstadt finally and thankfully. Then Concetta Franconero should be in there. She was an international star, had a major say in what she recorded, and was recording in various languages, more than anybody ever has, way before Ronstadt. As the world becomes more multicultural, Francis was way ahead of her time. There is a scope and depth to her music, and the Rock Hall shames themselves for not recognizing it. The charges of sexism ring true when it comes to snubbing Connie Francis. Get over yourselves, Rock Hall, and put her in there.

For not including one of the greatest singers from the 50`s is a grave mistake, there is no one who can sing like Connie can, no one today could reach the height her high notes go to, her music is not easy to do, and i have never heard anyone sing one of her songs and get that high, modern music is just noise, 50`s music is on another level, i have heard people say she sang pop music, but it was pop music from the 1950s, the same as Rock`n`Roll, Rockabilly and Doo-wop, it all made up what is true Rock`n`Roll, there are many videos of her performing live back in the 50s on YouTube, go and watch her singing, she is a natural, one of my Favorites is Teddy, my word watching her sing this gives me goose bumps and she hits those high notes perfectly.

Connie has Hundreds of thousands of fans the world over, and we all demand that Connie is inducted into the RRHF.

These fans will never forgive you if you wait till she dies to be inducted

When I first heard Connie Francis was not in the HOF I couldn't believe it. This lady was so popular when there were hardly any other female singers around. I loved her immediately upon hearing "Who's Sorry Now". Please honor her while she is still living. No one deserves it any more than she does.

When the HOF passes over Connie Francis and inducts others that are not nearly as talented and big /she sold 800 million records/ I am sad. Connie Francis is so talented that the hardest heart can't help but to fall in love with her. C'mon HOF! Connie is gigantic in talent and fss as me.

Connie Francis is one word: Talented. She never had to wear leud clothing (less in not always better) nor show their audience disgusting movements, disguised as dance. She sang, the people listened, and they applauded with ovations after ovations. The HOF members should count her record sales, her awards and read what people have written about her talents. Does she have to die before she is acknowleged by them?
Are some of these past winners talented as Connie Francis? I think not. Connie Francis is a true legend.
Shame on the selection members. Obviouly, they have not done their research. Their reasons for not including Connie Francis are what? I question their motives for not including her.

Connie Frances not being in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a travesty. Not only was she voted the top female performer several years in the US and other countries, she was fluent in 9 languages and performed many songs in different languages. The physical and mental difficulties that she endured during the course of her career is a testimony to her amazing fortitude.
She was truly one of the most gifted musical artists of all time.

I am not going to criticize the people who decided who and how they decided who gets into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but at 79 years old, I personally think they should look up the terms of Rock and Roll and maybe they would realize that Connie Francis belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So many that have been named over the past years have never sung any Rock and Roll songs. Connie Francis voice has always been Unique and sung Beautifully over her many years. I could send you a list of many songs that Connie has sung in many different styles and Languages. If you're Group decided through Money or true devoted followers, I have been to many of Connie Francis Concerts from New York, New Jersey and even Las Vegas and she always had sold out performances. Please do not wait until she passes away and then honor her, especially when I am now hearing Country Singer s and Hip Hop are appearing on the list before her. Thank you for allowing me to express my feelings while I am still alive.
