Rest in Peace Chris Cornell, 1964-2017.

I hope audioslave gets into the hall of fame "to be yourself is all that you can do" my favorite line from chris Cornell. They have helped me get through a lot in my life including addiction. Compared to several other bands that somehow made it to the hall of fame, I don't know why they wouldn't put audioslave in there. They deserve it they put there work in poured the soul into the music and have change a lot of people's lives mine included.

Chris Cornell loved Audioslave so much he offed himself the night before they were supposed to headline at Rock on the Range.

In my opinion, Rage Against the Machine doesn't belong Rock-And-Roll hall of fame ever. They just weren't that good. I also don't think that Soundgarden belongs in the Hall of Fame. Both bands just lingered and sold a bunch of records over a long period of time. Both bands weren't that good. In my opinion, the only way Morello is going to make it into the hall of fame is as a member of Audioslave. Chris Cornell will make it as a solo artist and should make it as a member of Audioslave. If you look at his total body of work, there is no doubt Chris Cornell belongs there (in the Rock-And-Roll Hall-Of-Fame). If you let Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly into the Rock-and-roll Hall-of-fame then you have to let Audioslave in- that's my argument anyway. Audioslave didn't last long, but they were great- in 4 years they sold half as many albums as Rage Against the Machine did in 30 years. I can't even believe that Rage Against the Machine was even nominated for the Hall of Fame. I remember- only the white trash liked them in the 90s. Alas, Tom Morello, you should be in the hall of fame. But, Rage Against the Machine simply doesn't belong there ever and under no circumstance. it would cheapen the whole thing greatly. Most people didn't like Rage Against the Machine- RATM had their followers. Everybody else hated the band for the most part. Audioslave really deserves to be in the Hall. They didn't last long, but they were great- just like Buddy Holly. I can't stress this enough- RATM was never really main stream. Tom Morello, learning to play a wah-wah pedal is not guitar theory.

Of course, I meant that learning to play a wah-wah pedal is not music theory and not guitar theory. I was typing fast and there is no way to correct it. The reason that I brought it up is because Morello talks about music theory in interviews. He's famous for playing a wah-wah pedal.

She's right playing wah-wah pedal is not a music or guitar theory. And i think Morello does talk about music theory in interviews. And he's very famous for playing wah-wah pedal.

I believe Tom Morello understands music theory. He doesn't throw it out there much with a bunch of stupid scales. It would be showing off if he did- so many jackasses show off. Not referring to Morello- it's like 'I have been playing these scales every day for 20 years, look how fast I can play this scale. Aren't I amazing?'-"C.C. Deville. I think that Morello is a great guitarist- he is absolutely elite. Yes, you are right sl, he is exceptionally good with a wah-wah pedal. I would say that he is the best ever with a wah-wah pedal. I am very sorry for my opinion, Mr. Jimi Hendrix.

I don't think that a supergroup like Audioslave stands a chance at the hall of fame.

Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine are both on the ballot this year, and I expect at least one of them to be inducted.

I think that your argument is that because Audioslave is a 'supergroup' they should not be included in the Hall of fame lacks merit. For example: Led Zeppelin, Cream, Journey, and the Eagles were supergroups. Yes, Soundgarden may be inducted. Dumber shit has happened. They are at least as deserving as many bands that have already been inducted. After all- it is a show and they do have to fill time slots. Audioslave must have had a big falling out. You never even hear their music on the radio. Someone is trying to make them forgotten. It is probably for legal reasons- Morello vs. the estate of Cornell and whatnot. The only way that Morello should go to the hall of fame is as a member of Audioslave. And that is that.

I was at that Rock on the Range Fest that Audioslave were supposed to headline at, before Chris offed himself. Boy did that cast a pall over the rest of the fest. It also rained alot that weekend. Definitely one of my less-good festival experiences.

I looked at the nominees this year; it's pretty week. Soundgarden is a sure -in. Rage Against the Machine probably will make it too. I love Chris Cornell as a musician. Soundgarden is good but I prefer his other stuff such as Audioslave. Sheryl Crowe, Iron Maiden, Cindi Lauper (definitely deserves it), George Michael, Soundgarden (no doubt), and Rage Against the Machine are my votes. When Rage Against the Machine makes it in I'll bet there bet there is going to be some big parties at all the trailer parks in all the land. Congratulations, Tom Morello. Chris Cornell's family deserves this. I am happy for them. Audioslave should make it in one day too. Good for you, Tom Morello. You are lucky to have played with Chris Cornell. Don't be mad at me, Morello; I voted for you.

I made a mistake- I meant weak instead of week. I was typing fast. Morello is one of my favorite guitarists. As far as the comments that I have made- I wanted to see if I could get a reaction out of Morello because I assume he hosts this site. Why would anyone else host this site? For what it is worth, I am very happy that he going to the Rock-and-Roll Hall-of-Fame. I know that it means alot to him. I think that he will make it twice- Audioslave definitely belongs there.
